• The first Italian ryegrass available with AR37 novel endophyte for improved insect protection
  • ASSET AR37 has been bred from a wide range of genetics, including highly persistent Italian material that was strong in the second autumn and winter
  • Low aftermath heading for a diploid Italian, enabling good summer quality
  • ASSET AR37 is a dense cultivar, making it ideal for coping with the rigours of winter grazing

ASSET AR37 is the new diploid Italian ryegrass from Agricom. ASSET AR37 is the first Italian ryegrass available with AR37 endophyte that was bred from surviving winter-active, second year plants. As a result of these atttributes ASSET AR37 is the perfect choice if a persistent Italian ryegrass is what is required.

ASSET AR37 has a high tiller density to encourage persistency even under occasional heavy winter grazing. This has led to an extremely persistent Italian ryegrass that recovers strongly from summer conditions. With ASSET AR37 being the first Italian ryegrass available with AR37 endophyte, this added insect protection improves persistence. ASSET AR37 can cause ryegrass staggers and is reccommended to be used as an over sowing option.

ASSET AR37 is charatcterised by quickly returning to a leafy pasture post-summer grazing. This low aftermath seed head characteristic makes ASSET AR37 ideal for over sowing into dairy pastures or for irrigated runoffs where it may be used for winter grazing, then high quality spring and summer silage.

Animal Health:
ASSET AR37 is recommended as an oversowing option only for damaged pastures in dairy situations. ASSET AR37 can cause ryegrass staggers.
